What to Expect?
You are probably asking yourself what goes on at a Massage Championship? This will be a 2-day event where Licensed Massage Therapists will be able to showcase their skills in the categories of their choice. This is a time for us to learn from each other and see all the different techniques that we can bring to the massage industry. Always remember we all work in the massage industry that we love, but we all bring something different to our field to help our clients.
Categories
There are 9 different categories that you can choose from. You can choose to compete in 1 category or 2 categories of your choosing. The categories can be anywhere from Swedish to Wellness to Chair, along with other categories.
Massage Championships
Massage Championships started internationally through the IMA. The First American Massage Championship was held in Cherokee, NC at Harrah's Casino in 2022 during the World Massage Festival.

When you come to a massage championship, either as a competitor or spectator , you will be able to see what Licensed Massage Therapists bring to the massage industry.
